Training Levels
Most of the NM Prevention Workforce workshops do not have prerequisites; those that do will be clearly indicated.
Courses are labeled either beginning, intermediate, or advanced. The intention of the level system is to assist participants in choosing appropriate courses. Some courses contain material that is designed to be useful to participants with a specific level of substance use prevention experience. The levels are not intended to discourage people from attending any courses, rather to increase the likelihood that the course will meet the participants’ needs.
