Attendance, Cancellation & No Show Policies

  • If you are unable to attend a training you are registered for, you must cancel within 5 business days prior to the start of the training.
  • If you do not cancel prior to 5 business days, or if you are a "no show" to a training, you will be charged a late cancellation / "no show" fee equal to the cost of the training.
  • For online trainings, please be aware that participants who do not complete the pre-test by the 3rd day of training will be dropped from the training and will be considered a “no show,” resulting in being charged the "no show" fee equal to the cost of the training. (See Policies Specific to Online Trainings for additional information.)
  • The intention of the 5-day cutoff and late cancel fee is to encourage registrants to register only for trainings they intend to attend; to defray costs incurred by late cancellations; and most importantly, to allow the Training System time to make spaces available for those on a waiting list.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Late cancellation and no-show fees apply to all participants, Core Team and non-Core Team members, and to all trainings, including online trainings, hybrid trainings, live web-based trainings, and face-to-face trainings.

Core Team / Non-Core Team - Specific

  • If a non-Core Team member has paid for the training in advance, their payment is considered as the late cancel or no-show fee, and they will not be refunded. If they have not paid for the training in advance, a bill for the late cancel/no show fee will be given.
  • Core Team members will be billed for the late cancel/no show fee.



An "incomplete" for a training is when you:

a) start a self-paced online training by the designated third day, but you do not complete all the requirements.

b) miss more than half of a live web-based, hybrid, or in-person training without providing a valid reason.

  • Core Team member who receives an "incomplete" for two trainings will need to pay full price if they register for another training. Only after paying for, and completing this training, will you be eligible to attend future online trainings at no cost.
  • Non-Core Team participants who have paid in advance and who receive an “incomplete” because they did not complete the training in the designated time will not be issued a refund.
  • If an emergency occurs and you will not be able to complete a training, please contact or by phone 505-934-3578 as soon as possible. If there is an excusable reason for not completing the training (e.g., family emergency, illness) the training will not be marked as incomplete. Needing more time or other issues associated with working on the training towards the end of the scheduled time are not considered emergencies.



  • If you have paid for a training in advance and you cancel 5 business days prior to the training, you will be refunded within 30 days after the training has occurred.
  • As an alternative to a refund, Kamama Consulting can issue a “Tuition Transfer Credit” to be used by June of the current state fiscal year. Once the Transfer Credit has been applied to another training, it cannot then be cancelled or used a second time.
  • If Kamama Consulting cancels a training due to low enrollment or some unexpected event, and you have paid for the training being cancelled, you will have the choice of receiving either a full credit for the cost of the training, good until June of the current state fiscal year, or a full refund to be issued within 30 days after the training cancellation was issued.


Emergency Cancellations

  • In emergency situations in which you are not able to cancel 5 business days before the training, or if an emergency arises during a training, please contact us immediately by phone 505-934-3578 or by email
  • Each participant is responsible for contacting the Training System on their own behalf, except when they are unable.


How to cancel a registration

There are two options to cancel a registration:

1) To cancel online

  • First, login to your account at the Training System website:
  • Once logged into your account, click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen. You’ll see a drop-down menu item that says, “Your Trainings”.
  • Click on “Your Trainings” and you will come to a list of the trainings you are registered for. Click the red “Cancel Registration” link next to the training you want to cancel.
  • You will receive a confirmation e-mail shortly after to verify that you have cancelled. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, you must follow up by sending an e-mail to

Note: you will not be able to cancel online after the 5-day cutoff.
