General & Registration Policies

All Workshops are free to Core Team members of organizations funded by the Office of Substance Abuse Prevention (OSAP). (Click here to see a list of Core Team Members.)

For non-Core Team Members, there is a per-workshop tuition fee. This fee is listed on the Trainings & Registration Calendar. For more information about payments, see Payment Policy.

Workshops are first come, first served and are limited to 25 participants. Some workshops have lower limits, those will be noted in the course descriptions.

Self-Paced Online trainings have the same registration and payment requirements as in person trainings. Each online training is limited to 40 participants. Please register for an online training ONLY if you intend to complete the entire training.

You must register three business days before the training. Registrations will not be taken after that. In order to have a valid registration, you must officially register and receive a Confirmation Invoice from Kamama Consulting / NM Prevention Workforce Training System. This policy is to ensure that our clients have the correct logistical information of the date(s), location of the seminar and notice of our cancellation policy. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 business hours after registering, please call 1-505-934-3578

Please provide accurate Contact Information. Your phone number is only used if we need to contact you directly. Please provide a number we can best reach you at immediately (in case of change of venue or cancelation of training). Your address is used to mail certificates if needed.

  • Training may be cancelled due to low enrollment or unforseen circumstances/events.
  • Kamama Consulting is not responsible for fees associated with the cost of attending a training.
  • These policies may be updated at any time as needed.

What is a Core Team Member and how do you become one?

  • An OSAP Core Team Member is a person who is on the designated Core Team List provided by OSAP sub-recipient staff to their OSAP Program Manager.
  • Core teams are updated on a monthly basis by OSAP sub-recipient staff. Any changes to the Core Team need to be provided to OSAP Program Managers by the last day of each month. OSAP will then send the updated list to Kamama Consulting and this becomes the official list for the following month.
  • People added to the Core Team list in the middle of the month will become Core Team Members starting the first day of the next month.

OSAP Core Team Member Registration Policy

  • OSAP Core Team Members who do not give notice within 5 business days prior to the start date of the training will receive a bill for the late-cancellation fee of the cost of the training. Federal holidays are not business days.
  • For self-paced online trainings, Core Team Members who register, and do not cancel registration 5 business days prior to the start of online training, or who do not complete the pretest by the end of the third day are considered late cancellations/no show.
  • Any Core Team Member who receives an "incomplete" for two self-paced online trainings will need to pay full price if they register for another online training. Only after paying for, and completing this training, will you be eligible to attend future online trainings at no cost. (An "incomplete" is when you start a self-paced online training, by the designated third day, but you do not complete all the requirements by the end of the training)
  • If you have an outstanding balance with the training system, you will not receive certificates until the balance is paid and in some cases with long standing balances, you will not be able to attend other trainings. This fee helps to defray costs incurred by last minute cancellations and no-shows.
  • Anyone who has an outstanding balance at the end of a fiscal year will not be able to register for future training until the balance is paid.
  • If you are a late-cancel or no-show to a course and receive a bill, please send payments to:
